What are safeguarding checks?
These include the obvious checks such as a DBS, but we also need to check Identification, Qualifications, address and at least 2 professional references, plus asking you to make self declarations about your suitability to undertake a PE teaching role. These checks are normally completed during a one off initial face to face meeting and are standard pratice and so nothing to worry about.
