Salary – Main teaching scale plus London Fringe

An outstanding girls’ grammar school in South Buckinghamshire is looking to appoint a well-qualified teacher of Music from Easter or September 2020. The school caters for approximately 1200 girls aged 11-18 with a large sixth form of 300 and has high academic expectations. Results are outstanding and the school is consistently amongst the top performing state schools in the UK.

We are looking for a colleague who wishes to work in a positive, friendly and caring environment with well-motivated and able pupils. An established centre of academic excellence, we have an exceptional record in music, sport, community involvement and offer a full range of extra-curricular activities. We are looking for an NQT or experienced teacher who is confident in teaching Music to KS3, 4 and 5 and happy to assist with the vast array of extra-curricular Music and performances our students participate in.

We offer CGSE Music as well as A Level Music and Music Technology. We have some extremely gifted and motivated students who are a pleasure to teach.

We offer excellent support to NQTs. Throughout the Induction year and beyond that there are exceptional opportunities for professional development.
