This position is permanent

Our school is an HMC co-educational boarding and day school with 850 pupils that nurtures academic excellence, sporting success and creative talent. The campus of 400 acres is situated on the edge of the South Downs, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of English to commence in September 2020. The successful candidate will be a well-qualified graduate with the ability to teach English up to A level. Your teaching will enable all pupils to reach their potential, and challenge our most able pupils.

The school ethos is all about maximising pupil potential and we are delighted that our English department achieved the best results in the school in the summer examinations. We work hard to ensure that the strengths of every single student are recognised and valued. We are keen to provide a holistic education for our pupils and excel in the Sport, Music and the Arts, therefore a commitment to contribute to extra-curricular activities is essential.
