Futureactive are currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist!
Based in Bromley, Kent, the role is within an independent school for primary and secondary children with autism. The school is friendly, vibrant and well-resourced. The staff team offer a highly differentiated curriculum to children with a wide range of ability and a diversity of challenging attributes.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide a specialist Occupational Therapy service to the children, undertaking assessments of students with diverse presentations to identify their individual sensory, physical, social and environmental needs whilst supporting the development and delivery of individualised intervention programmes to help learning and to enable meaningful engagement in activities, social interaction and relationships.
You will model standards of best practice and the principles of Clinical Governance within your professional activities.
Essential skills and experience required:
- HCPC Registered
- Experience of working with the specific client group.
- Specialist knowledge of OT assessments and interventions
- Experience of representing occupational therapy within the context of multi-disciplinary and multi-agency treatment and care
