A well-established charity that supports people to make positive behavioural changes, most notably with alcohol and drug misuse, and mental health, would like to hear from any Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners seeking a new challenge.
The aim of the service is to provide brief step 2 interventions within primary care settings. You’ll work within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) service providing high volume, low intensity interventions which will be a range of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) based self-management interventions to clients with mild to moderate anxiety and depression.
You’re experienced and extremely competent working with people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary and you’re committed to equal opportunities. You’ll provide brief CBT based interventions, and support, for their client groups by providing a range of appropriate and imaginative responses.
In return your salary of £21,692- £28,180 (plus Outer London Weighting of £1758) dependent on skills and experience, represents a flexible 37.5 hours per week based in one of the IAPT offices in South London or Kent, whilst living out the charities core values through you every day work.
