Primary PE & Dance & Gymnastic Specialists

12 month contract available

Commencing immediately &/or September 2019 - August 2020 (in the first instance)

The Liverpool School Sport Partnership is seeking a number of dynamic and enthusiastic Primary PE/Dance/Gymnastic Specialists to join our very successful team of professional coaches. The LSSP provide PPA cover through teaching PE lessons to pupils in schools across Merseyside and PE team teaching opportunities for Primary Teachers.

Full time and part time hours are available which will consist of full days (7 hrs) and afternoons (3hrs) during the school day. All contracted weekly hours will be set until August 2019.


• Level 2 National Governing Body Qualification or equivalent
• Confident working with children aged 4-11 years
• Desire to become an outstanding PE Specialist

In an effort to continually update and develop our staff we offer access to additional training opportunities through our Professional Development programmes. Coaching staff are encouraged to improve and develop their skills in a variety of sports and activities.

We are particularly keen to recruit Multi skilled, Dance and Gymnastics Specialists to deliver high quality PE lessons in line with the Nation curriculum requirements.

The posts are subject to satisfactory criminal records check from the Disclosure and Barring Service.

Salary: £19,945 (full time equivalent)                              Contract: 12 month (term time only)
