Are you a level 2 or higher Gymnastics coach looking for a new challenge from January 2018? Are you seeking a full-time gymnastics role and perhaps prepared to re-locate to get it? Do you want to work in beautiful surroundings with exceptional facilities where your sport is given the highest priority? If you’ve answered yes to the questions above then read on, because we may just have the perfect job for you!
A stunning Co-Educational Day and Boarding School in picturesque Dorset is seeking a dynamic Head of Gymnastics for a January 2018 start. Set in rolling countryside, but a short drive to the beautiful Jurassic coast,
the job, package and location all add up to a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.
With the skill and experience to run the school’s exceptional gymnastics facility, the acumen to manage the Gymnastics Club and the ability to inspire and motivate their enthusiastic gymnasts, you’ll ideally possess a Level 3 WAG Coach qualification, although dynamic Level 2 Coaches may be considered.
Whilst you’ll report directly to the school’s Headteacher, you’ll be responsible to the Director of Sport for all gymnastics and related activities involving the schools’ pupils on a day to day basis. You’ll then liaise directly with the Bursar for all activities relating to the Schools’ separate Gymnastics Club, the letting and marketing of the facilities and all financial and commercial matters relating to the club. This is very much a dual role.
With the opportunity to grow and develop the gymnastics club, particularly out of school term time, incentives may be offered for candidates who demonstrates the ability to increase the commerciality of the club as well as its overall success.
As these types of roles are rare, you’ll be at the top of your game, relishing the challenge of a multi-faceted role, centring on your Gymnastics passion and expertise. It’s a full time, full on job and you’ll be working 40 hours per week. You’ll also be enthused at the opportunity to become involved in Dorset and SW Gymnastics.
Accommodation is available for the right candidate, with subsidised school places on offer for their children, where applicable. With all meals provided throughout term time and free membership to the Sports Club (Gym and Golf Club) you’ll benefit from competitive salary of £22-28K (depending on skills and experience) accompanied by a pension. This all adds up to an extremely attractive package!
Is this the job for you? Do you tick the boxes and does the job tick yours? If so, we’re waiting to hear from you.
Apply NOW or get in touch for more information. The school are keen to appoint and interviews will be held over the next few weeks. What are you waiting for?
