GLL is looking for a Diving Development Officer based at the London Aquatics Centre (LAC), set in the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford. The LAC is recognised by British Diving as a high performance centre home to world-class divers and coaches. The centre boasts the largest diving lessons academy in the country currently delivering lessons to 650 children and adults. We're now looking for a passionate Diving Development Officer to become an integral part of what is still a new club and developing programme.

Working alongside the Diving Development Lead Coach you will support in coaching junior elite level squads as well as taking on squads of new divers selected from talent spotting with aims of selection into English Programme Squads in the future.
As a Diving Development Officer you will play a key part of the expanding Junior Brands team, where you will manage the Tom Daley Diving Academy (TDDA). You will also look at developing additional pathway products, programmes and services that will increase participation and talent identification opportunities within activities feeding into diving.

Not only will you be working closely with the Dive London Aquatics Club, you will also juggle the many competitions held over the season as well as managing the largest diving lessons academy in the country, a flexible, positive, and can do attitude with excellent time management skills will be crucial. You will have effective communication and customer service skills as you ensure a smooth, professional and enjoyable experience throughout a customer's journey, whether that be in lessons or squads.

You will have a minimum UKCC Level 2 Coaching Diving, and be experienced and passionate within the sport. Demonstrating a good understanding of the British Diving Pathway will also be key, with experience in coaching on English programme camps as well as TID Games and Junior Elites. You will understand diver's needs and be able to coach a diverse range of people from children through to adults. You will have a key part in our team in moulding one of the most up and coming diving programmes in the country.
