Our client is looking for Disability Swimming Teachers with a minimum Level 2 certificate, knowledge of the ASA National Plan for teaching swimming skills, techniques and awards, and ideally, the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers. Knowledge of health, safety and other relevant legislation will be vital too, as will an understanding of Child Protection Policy.
The usual hours of work and locations for this role are:
- Monday – New Addington - 5.45pm – 6.45pm
- Thursday – Waddon - 6pm – 7pm
- Friday – Thornton Heath - 5pm – 6.30pm
This role is a disability swimming role; however, teachers are not required to have specific disability experience if they are highly experienced in teaching swimming.
Applicants will need to be approachable, with a friendly, patient nature needed to build people's trust as all candidates have a disability.
