What is a Customer Relations Advisor?
A customer relations advisor is the first point of contact for the customers and members of the organisation.
What do they do?
They have the following job responsibilities:
-To welcome each customer to the business in a polite fashion
-Drive membership sales
-Give accurate advice to the customers on queries
-Handle complaints and feedback graciously and act upon these promptly
-Deal with customer transactions
-Ensure the reception is presentably clean and tidy
What qualifications do I need to become a Customer Relations Advisor?
-NVQ Level 2 (Ideally) in Customer Service
What skills/experience will an employer look for?
-Good communication skills both verbally and written with the ability to sell and persuade customers
-Good basic computer skills, i.e. Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Excel
-Efficient at goal setting and achieving goals
-Good numerical skills
-Excellent customer service skills
-Cash handling and attention to detail
What salary can I expect?
The Salary varies for each job, but is usually in the £15k-£20k per year range.
