Hi, I'm Jon. It's been quite a journey since I sold our flat in London in 2004 and moved my young family to Hertfordshire to start PE Recruitment, armed only with a laptop and lots of determination!

Thanks to the support and expertise of an exceptional team (and wife!) along the way and a demand from our clients to evolve our particular style of recruitment, we are proud and excited to be Futureactive.

My passion for PE, Sport and all things active burns as brightly today as it did when I began teaching PE in 1997, and when I moved on to help inspire a generation of active kids whilst managing a school sports partnership.

It was here that PE Recruitment was conceived, when the agencies I worked with failed to deliver any quality of customer service and lacked any subject knowledge, whilst recruiting PE and School Sport staff.  A specialist agency was needed! An approach we still value highly today.

I love the thrill of the chase that recruitment provides, the buzz of finding and placing a quality candidate, the hum of a busy office and pride in leading our team.

Whilst my sporting ambitions remain, sadly the time to pursue them does not. Whilst I adore anything and everything sporty, I live my dreams out watching my 3 girls derive as much pleasure from sport and activity as I did and whilst I have filled many roles from Chairman of a cricket club to county rugby coach and selector, my current roles of taxi driver and cheerleader give me immense pleasure and satisfaction.
