The Maccelsfield Academy

Our role as governors is threefold: to decide on the most important strategic priorities for the Academy, to hold the Headteacher and senior leaders to account for making sure these priorities are achieved and to oversee the Academy finances. We are not all expert in all of these areas but between us we have the skills and the experience to make sure that the Academy goes on ‘making our best better’.
