2004: Jon Pettit sets up PE Recruitment following his frustration at the quality of specialist knowledge and level of customer service when recruiting PE teachers and sports coaches for a Local Authority School Sports Partnerhsip.
2005: PE Recruitment moves in to it's first office, in the thriving village of Stanstead Abbotts, Hertfordshire, where new recruits Fiona and Karajan join the team (...and they're still here!!)
2007: Following continual growth the team move to a larger office in Stanstead Abbotts , and becomes the Association for Physical Educations "recruitment partner of choice", whilst placing their first overseas PE teacher in Seoul, South Korea.
2009: PE Recruitment is awarded the Quality Mark by the Department for Education and Recruitment and Employment Confederation for the standard of their vetting and management of temporary staff.
2011: The team take on their first office apprentice, embedding the now established culture of the training and development of junior staff.
2013: On the move again, to a larger, newer office in Stanstead Abbotts. Following demand from clients, a job board product is developed, with a new team put together to sell advertising and recruitment services in to the Sport sector.
2015: A new brand is conceived, a new direction agreed and the planning begins to launch Futureactive.
2016: PE Recruitment becomes Futureactive. The team move to brand new offices up the road in the beautiful market town of Ware and launch the new brand to the world.

As the recruitment partner of choice for the only subject association for Physical Education we have enjoyed a on-going partnership with the association for Physical Education, as both business associate and individual member. Involved in PE and School Sport?
An active member of the Education Sector Group, Futureactive have been awarded the Quality Mark year on year since 2008 for the standard of our safeguarding children and safer recruitment in education. Although the Quality Mark has now been replaced by a compliance test for the REC we still passed with flying colours, whilst introducing our own internal Quality Mark audit, for quality assurance.
